You used to have to own a place at Tucker's Point in Bermuda, or have well-connected friends to play on the resort's private golf course.

Now that Tucker's Point Hotel is finally open, you simply have to check in as a guest to get to play.

The 18-hole Roger Rulewich-designed championship golf course winds along Castle Harbour and Harrinton Sound.

The fairways are superbly manicured and TifEagle greens make a fast putting surface.

The golf club has a designer clubhouse with great locker rooms. There is a driving range, a practice putting green, and PGA-certified golf instructors.

Room rates from $450/night, golf from $250 per round.
